Specific Features

  • What workflow improvements does Dash360 offer?
    • Dash360 provides several workflow improvements that are a dramatic improvement over managing tasks in spread sheets or generic task management tools. Each task is an atomic item with all related discussion, file attachments, and clear indication of status. Ownership and status of each task is clear, and participants are notified when there is work to do. In essence, Dahs360 gives each stakeholder a personalized dashboard that emphasizes the most immediate tasks to address, with all relevant context in one place instead of spread across emails, attachments, and documents. 
  • Does Dash360 help manage PBCs?
    • Yes! One of the core capabilities of the Dash360 solution is secure, collaborative and real-time management of PBC requests. There are user roles for internal accounting team members as well as internal or external audit team members.
  • What kind of data can be analyzed?
    • Aside from reporting on task status and overall progress on close or audit activities, task metadata is available for analysis to understand how to best utilize the talents of an accounting team, who is overloaded or underloaded, and what tasks are aging an untouched. All data is available for export or analysis in the dashboards within Dash360.
  • Are there any integrations with other accounting software or tools?
    • No, yet fear not! This is “a feature, not a bug” of the Dash360 solution. This is a task management solution designed to make quick work of monthly and quarterly activities or support internal and external audit activities, not an accounting system of record. Adding Dash360 is non-disruptive to how you work, adding structure, support, and analytics to your existing process and how you work with existing systems of record. It works easily alongside your existing tool regardless if that is Quickbooks, Sage, NetSuite or anything else. We are working on integration where it makes sense and leveraging AI to autocomplete tasks and stage them for human approval, making your workload more and more manageable.

    • Some users suggested up to 5 hours a week of time savings during audit, though this is subjective and depends on the size of your team and the size of your company. Imagine all the time you spend searching for documents or emails, updating statuses, and sharing updates on tasks or work items via email and you’ll have a rough idea.  Fortunately, we’re here to help you interpret the analytics and find the right optimizations for your team and we’re certain you’ll be able to find insights on your own.

  • Is the interface user-friendly and intuitive?
    • You bet! This is one of the things that stands out, our attention to providing a beautiful and intuitive interface. Most clients are able to begin using the system within thirty minutes of onboarding. Our user interface was designed by user experience professionals who deeply understand accounting workflows, testing and iterating on the best experience for users. After all, this minimizes support overhead for us, so we can focus on continuing to add more powerful features. 
  • Is there any training required to use the tool effectively?
    • We provide a live onboarding via Zoom to get you or your entire team up to speed and ready to dive in. This takes about 15 minutes and is recorded and sent to you for safe keeping. We also have videos and training documentation for onboarded users and a customer success team dedicated to ensuring you have a great experience with Dash360.
  • Does the tool offer any support or resources for users?
    • The Dash360 support team is available through our ticketing system available exclusively to our customers. We are still running an early adopter program for the embedded AI tools, and those customers have direct live support from the Dash360 support and engineering team.
  • Is it available on multiple devices?
    • Dash360 runs in a web browser and is optimized for desktop use while still working fine in a mobile or tablet browser. Think about it like this: most of the life of an accountant is on a laptop or desktop computer, so we optimized the experience for those use cases while considering the amount of information needed on the screen in order to work effectively. 

 

Pricing and Availability

  • What are the different pricing plans available?
    • The subscription costs are all you’ll pay. Check out the pricing page for more information.
  • Is there a free trial or demo available?
    • Yes. New users can have 6 months free to try the tool and even run an audit. There are no freemium features, you get full functionality for 5 users for 6 months, no strings! We are also running a pilot program for training our AI tools which comes with additional benefits for that cohort.
  • How can users get started with the tool?
    • Onboarding is simple, and it only takes under an hour (typically 15 minutes) to get up and running. Just sign up here!

 

Security

  • What security measures are in place to protect user data?
    • We use a major 3rd party authentication provider for access to the Dash360 platform, which provides constant updates to the latest industry best practices and management of newly discovered exploits. Our cloud database and file storage are locked down and have been audited for security to ensure safety of your data. Each clients data is stored in their own repository with no access to other repositories. All of this has been audited by a 3rd party.
